Whenever I think of Joyce, I see the photo of you, your mum, my mum - at a party at your cottage in Chislehurst - arms linked, you in the middle, Joyce and mum doing jazz-hands with their free arm - everyone laughing.  I also remember your mum saying she loved the mamas and the papas and Nic and I loved listening to her stories of panto - in her day, when she was in one - and they ran from Boxing Day until Easter!
